Bug [# 410] Opera 8.51 and virtuemart footer

Description:
If the global configuration for the site is set to 'show footer' thumbnails do not show up in opera 8.51 if the opera browser is set up as 'identify as IE expolorer'

The opera has under tools -> quick preferences three options: identify as opera identify as mozilla identify as Internet explorer

Identify as internet explorer is the standard setting.

Thumbnails in virtuemart do not show up if the setting is 'identify as internet explorer'. There are no problems if the opera settings are 'identify as mozilla' or 'identify as opera'.

It's probably more a browser problem ... anyway opera users may wonder if they do not see the thumbnails because the standard setting is 'identify as internet explorer'.

The problem only appears if the virtuemart footer is displayed.

Jan 17 2006 		I test it with Opera 8.51 now and all thumbnails show up perfectly in the shop when "Identify as MSIE 6.0" is set and "Show powered-by-virtuemart footer?" is enabled.
It works!

Dec 29 2005 		I am using jpg thumbnails. Just tried it out ... the same happens with png files.

It only happens if the opera settings are set to 'identify as internet explorer' (->tools ->preferences) and only if the 'powered by virtuemart' footer is enabled.

If the opera is set to 'identify as opera' or 'identify as mozilla' everything works fine but the default setting is 'identify as internet explorer'.

Dec 28 2005 		When "Show powered-by-VirtueMart" footer is enabled, thumbnails don't show up? Do you use PNG thumnails?
