Let's begin with a BETA 1 release. Please note: "BETA 1" means two things:
1. not every known bug is fixed yet
2. many fixes need testing
SO, THIS SHOULD BE USED FOR TESTING ONLY!

Here we are, BETA 2 release.
- all known bugs fixed EXCEPT two (i need Soeren advice for them)
- most of the fixes still need testing

Another week, another BETA: this time all know bugs are fixed, except one about rounding issue which is going to be postponed since it is not exactly a bug (it is more an issue of "unclear" behaviour regarding rounding parameters and calculations, and it requires a specific analysis).

Note 1: there are still some bugs marked as "RESOLVED" which need testing. I ask anyone who has some spare time, in the team or not, to test them so i can close them and prepare to release 1.1.6 final package. Thank you.

Note 2: we are now "freezing" 1.1.6, this means bugs reported from now on will be fixed in 1.1.7.

This is the last BETA. Some other fixes have been confirmed, now we just wait for all them to be tested before releasing RC.

Here we are! After less than 4 months after previous release, we have today another official bugfixing release of VirtueMart: 1.1.6.

As you can see from the CHANGELOG, more than 30 various issues have been fixed, some of them known since a long time. There are still a few known bugs which will be addressed in the next 1.1.7 release, scheduled for early 2011.

In the next days full package and update patches will appear in the usual locations.

P.S. as stated before, 1.1.6 will be released only for Joomla 1.5, no Joomla 1.0 version is available.

1.1.5 to 1.1.6 update patch was missing the SQL query. From 1.1.5, it is possible to include SQL update query in the update XML file, so that it is not necessary to manually run SQL updates anymore.
