Optional frontend switch to change the cart language

Description
Sometimes I have customers from i.e. Italy who want to order a product, but are unable to follow the german or english language checkout/payment instructions. So it would be nice if there would be an optional switch in the cart view to change to a different language, if different language files are available.
Technically, it should be possible (I have an online booking system (Joomla/Jomres) on one of my websites which offers this option - without requiring Joomfish or other language management extensions.
