Description

We need more reports. Peter suggested the following:
• Monthly Sales
• Daily Sales
• Yearly Sales
• Date defined sales report
• Per Product sales report
• Per category sales report
• Manufacturer base sales report
• Gross sales report
• Net sales report
• Shipping sales report (based on carrier)
• Customer base sales report.
• Should be able to print report from within VirtueMart.
• Export/convert report to PDF file
• Export report to Excel/CSV
• Show taxed items/collected very impotent currently there is no way to know how much tax is collected, have to go through each order to see if tax was applied or not, need column for tax.
• Checkbox selectable options to show, all orders, Confirmed orders, Shipped orders, Pending orders, Canceled orders, Refunded orders.
• Show report base on Manufacturer, Category or Product
• Report/Statistic of orders indicating method of payment - useful to see report of products placed via PayPal, Credit card or etc.
• Report/Statistic of orders indicating method of shipment - useful to see report of products placed via USPS, FedEX or etc.

each report based on a order/sales logic should be filtered by payment method (credit card / cash / bank account / payal & other gateway ) so i suggest also a payment report.
also any parameter should interact with any order so the vendor should be able to

1 select a product

2 in a data frame

3 for a certain payment method

4 and split the result by weekly monthly or daily view

please have a look to the attached screenshot (it's in italian i will translate it if you don't understand the concept described adove please let me know)

also any report that involve a date frame should be reported with a graph (x/y) and any report involving quality statements should be reported with a graph ( piechart e.g. for order status report )

graph , expecially interactive ones, are the basic for a quick analysis of a scenario in order to have a quick view of the overall period (take the magento dashboard for example) - for example think about a vendor that want to know how many order are pending or how many customers have made only one order in acertain time frame
